The GOLD Process is a robust process by which healthcare services are assessed to become GOLD Forum Members. It involves a significant commitment over a number of months to plan and gather evidence of high level performance, including having this performance validated at a regional or national level. This then entitles the health service to be nominated to participate in the international jury assessment process. These steps are described in more detail below.

ANNOUNCING: Key Gold Forum dates for 2022
- Monday 28st Feb - Authorised submitters nominate healthcare service candidates based on local validation process (FORM A) - to receive FORM A please complete the Expression of Interest form or contact the Global Network Coordinating Centre
- Monday 29st April - Nominated candidates are notified of eligibility to participate in GOLD Process 2022
- Monday 27st June - Accepted candidates make their detailed submission with the support of their submitter (FORM B)
- Monday 29st Aug - All candidates are notified of the outcome

Support meeting for GOLD Process 2022
The Global Network hosted a support meeting (17th Dec. 2021) for the 2022 Gold process to offer guidance and support with regards to the certification process.
